Lost Tooth

Yesterday, Rachelle lost her first tooth.

It all began a few weeks ago when all of us were jumping on the trampoline. We were jumping in a circle and decided to all land on our butts at the same time. 1..2..3.. we all landed. Rachelle was the only one who fell on her back after. When she did, her knees smacked her in the mouth. She was pretty upset and cried. We found out it caused her tooth to be pretty loose. I tried to pull it out then, but it wouldn't come out. Since then, she hasn't let me try again. That is ok, we just let it be and I knew it would fall out in time. I was just hoping it wouldn't take the 6 months or so that Steven's last tooth took (which was eventually pulled by the dentist). Rachelle told me at the time that she didn't like her dad very much for doing it. She thought it was his fault her knees hit her mouth. Of course I told her it wasn't her Daddy's fault, it was just something that happened.

Yesterday, she went outside and was playing and came in to eat a snack of bananas and a fruit dip I had recently tried at my latest BUNCO meet and decided to test out on the kids. ( (1) 8oz pkg of cream cheese and (1) 13 oz jar of Jet Puffed Marshmallow Cream mixed together) Rachelle then went outside and a few seconds later came in crying. I asked what was wrong and she said she had lost her tooth. I asked how she knew and she said she saw it. I asked 'outside?' and she said she didn't know where she lost it. I asked where she saw she had lost it and she said in the glass on the door. Rachelle was pretty upset that it was gone. Not because we couldn't find it, but that it had come out at all. I couldn't make her feel better that it is a part of life that you loose your baby teeth. She calmed down after a bit, but still isn't too keen on the fact that her teeth will come out.

We did find the tooth right next to the couch where she had eaten her snack. And I put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy. :)

TERENA

I play several games on Facebook, and a lot of them have contests to try and win things. Well, one of the contests I entered the person wanted you to look for songs with your name in it. I don't really know how to find song lyrics, but I went to BLINGO and typed in my name. I didn't see any SONGS with my name in them listed (that I could tell were songs anyhow!), BUT this is what I found that I thought was interesting:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TERENA
TERENA (Trans-European Research and Education Networking Association) is a not-for-profit association of European NRENs (National Research and Education Networks). It was formed in October 1994 through the merger of RARE (Réseaux Associés pour la Recherche Européenne) and EARN (European Academic and Research Network), and is incorporated in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

AND

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ter%C3%AAna_language
Terêna or Etelena is spoken by 15,000 Brazilians. The language has a dictionary and grammar rules. Many Terênan people have low Portuguese proficiency. It is spoken in Mato Grosso do Sul. 20% are literate, 80% literate in Portuguese.

PS I won $100BB in this game Brimmies Super Cups for trying :)

YUMMY BROWNIES!

Delsa made brownies tonight cuz Steve said he wanted some so I told him to ask Delsa to. Well, she get them all done and was waiting for them to cool and look what happened?

All Steven and Rachelle left was the edges! I was so mad I sent them STRAIGHT to bed! They both said it was the other's idea, of course!

*EDIT* WOW! I should really make use of the little known feature called SPELL CHECK, huh? All better!
